Kildare pupils off to France after winning EU poster contest (16/4/09)
Fourteen County Kildare students have clinched top prize in a nationwide poster competition on the theme: ‘European Year for Creativity and Innovation’. The pupils from Holy Family Secondary School in Newbridge certainly displayed their creative flair in their four winning poster entries, one of which celebrated iconic European architectural structures including the Eiffel Tower and the classic Dutch windmill.
