And unless one is rich it is impossible to challenge the situation. Satellites dishes are routinely forbidden, and often removed physically by or on behalf of landlords in Dublin. One major agency will impose fines on tenants or owners by addition to annual charges of €100 per infringement. There is no mechanism for appeal. My neighbour arrived home to find to men on her first floor balcony removing her dish. Another had it chopped off and thrown down. I wrote to an MEP but received no response. This iis Rachmanism by another name.
